Daylighting Living Rooms
Generally, living rooms are located on the ground floor of a property so it may be necessary to install a Solatube through the room above. This can be achieved by routing the light tube through the inside of wardrobe or cupboard. Some clients have even made a feature of tubing by using transparent corrugated tubing so the daylight shines through, or wrapping the tube with bespoke coloured or printed designs.
Accessories
Daylight dimmers are often used in ‘cinema’ living rooms to reduce light levels during summertime TV viewing. Great for tennis fans!

Daylight Dimmers
We offer 2 types of daylight dimmer for the 160 DS and 290 DS:
Magnetic - Simple, easy-to-use, retro-fit daylight dimmer used with the Classic Vusion or Classic OptiView ceiling fittings
Electric - Uses a patented butterfly baffle design that blocks out as much or as little daylight as you like at the press of a switch.
