The British Board of Agrément (BBA) is the UK’s major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers. Solatube Daylighting Systems were awarded BBA certification in November 2008 — the only tubular daylighting systems to hold this prestigious recognition.
The Solatube system is covered by BBA Agrément Certificate 20/5762, which can be seen on Techcomlight Ltd’s website at http://www.solatube.co.uk.
Why accept anything less?
The BBA’s Agrément Certificates are awarded only to a construction product or system after it has successfully passed a comprehensive assessment involving laboratory testing, on-site evaluations and inspections of production. The manufacturer will also be audited, ensuring that a suitable quality management system is in place. Regular monitoring of the product manufacture by the BBA takes place twice a year with a full and comprehensive reassessment every three years.
Our BBA certified systems confirm compliance with UK building regulations, so these systems may be installed without restriction in the UK. AgrémentCertificates are recognised by building control inspectors, government departments, architects, local authorities, specifiers and insurers such as the NHBC.
