Daylighting with DIY SOS - again!
Once again, we are delighted to donate our daylight systems to another very deserving cause whose family home was being transformed by the BBC’s DIY SOS team. In this latest episode, the team remodelled the home of a 17-year old suffering from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome in order that she may have the freedom to return home from hospital – where she has been for the last 3 years.

It was an ambitious DIY SOS build that created her own bespoke bedroom, a specially adapted wet room – each with Solatube Daylighting Systems – and an accessible space to socialise with family and friends.
Inevitably, the ‘big reveal’ did bring a lump in the throat, but we are delighted to have contributed to this challenging, but very worthwhile project and help brighten the life of this very special family. As always, DIY SOS ensures all building work is overseen by building control, so it was important that the products used were fully compliant and we were happy to oblige with our BBA Certified Daylighting Systems.
